VDT-01 Voltage Deviation Transducer

The three phase voltage deviation transducer is used for tuning and optimizing the performance of generator excitation systems including their automatic voltage regulators (AVR). In modern interconnected generation and transmission systems, proper tuning of the excitation system is critical for stable power system operation. The VDT-01 is the only commercially available product for generator frequency response measurement (for computer modeling of the power system) and power system stabilizer (PSS) tuning and testing.
